The big pet haven, Cartimar. With all your pet needs! |

Hi guys!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! :D
New look, new urge to blog again.
Maybe this time I would be sharing my experiences as a new mom...to a "furbaby", that is.
I recently bought myself a Shih Tzu pup this Christmas.
I've been considering getting myself a small dog all year and I finally decided to go through with it. I wanted a smaller dog since I wanted to experience having an small "indoor" dog, being in a family that only had BIG dogs (we have a German Shepherd, a Siberian Husky, a half Siberian Husky, and an Aspin), so those guys, obviously, could just stay outside.
Plus, now, I think I could already provide the basic needs of a little pup. So here, why not. :)
I've been going around Cartimar for some time, looking for my future baby. Yes, I know about puppy mills and the bad reputation of pet stores, but I couldn't really afford the pups that good and reputable breeders have. So as best as I could, I looked for a good store. My definition of good being: the sellers should be the owners of the pups' parents, they should know the basic things about the breed, they have concern for their puppies, they have a good/clean environment, etc
So before asking around, I made sure I researched about the breeds I was interested in. Originally, I wanted a pug. But when I searched for one, I only found one place who had them and they kinda looked "unhealthy". So iba na lang. I looked for my second favorite, the Shih Tzu.
There were A LOT of Shih Tzus there. Every place practically had them. I looked for the most reasonably priced pups. The not-too-cheap/not-too-high priced one. And eventually, I found Aling Naty. Haha.
The playful pups drew me to them. And Aling Naty even let me touch the pups. Ang KULIT nila!!! They were very active little boogers!! Hahaha
So ayan na, I told Aling Naty I'd come back. :)
Actually, when I went puppy hunting, I haven't told my parents about it pa. So that night, I asked my mom if I could get a pup. The usual responsibility concerns was discussed until my mom finally said, "If it's the only way I could get you home, why not."
Gahd. -_-
Hahaha
And here's the start of a whole new series of MADNESS. :D
