Ang NSTP namin is CWTS. It's more of community service and it's way better than making bilad in the blazing heat of the sun (as in ROTC). And we're serving in the Gawad Kalinga (GK) site in San Andres, Manila.
Well...the Sunday before this, may malaking GK event na dapat pinuntahan namin sa UP Diliman. Ang problem is hapon na yung event and ang layo ng place. Sino ba ang may gustong pumunta?
Haha. So basically, we had to make up for the 4 (actually 3 lang dapat) hours that we missed of the freakin' NSTP. We (the very masipag people of Block 1 less the 10) had to go there on our own precious time and serve for 4 hours!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Haha. Pero okay lang kasi noong araw na toh ata nag-Pointe class ang Level 3 and ang nagturo, si TA (Tatiana Udalenkova, Lisa Macuja-Elizalde's Russian teacher whos's, obviously, from Russia....whoah). And MASAKIT, so okay lang. Haha.
Anyway,
sumama ako sa mga hindi ko ka-brigade because that Saturday (yun yung napag-usapang day), alam kong walang show sa Star, yung susunod na Saturday, hindi na ako sure, so I just went that Saturday. Okay lang, kasama ko naman sina John.
Pag dating namin dun, pinaglinis kami ng "library" dun (na punong-puno ng dusty, as in DUSTY, old books <--- kaya inallergy ako pag uwi ko because of all the dust). Inayos pa namin yun, inarrange namin by subject. Ang ganda-ganda niyang tignan after. We're supposed to play with them daw and do useful, educational stuff...
And mygahd. Like yung sabi ni Barron, "Ang daming kupal sa kanila". Haha. Hey...those were not MY words. Meron din namang mababait kahit papaano. Basta....ANG KUKULIT ng iba, as in. Literal na tumatumbling pa yung mga little boys...juiceko. Kakahigh-blood.
And they were not exactly hygienic (most of them anyway). Haha. I was aware of what the kid was doing to my shirt, hindi ko na lang siguro pinakita na na-eeew-ewww na talaga ako nun. Wahaha. We played games, nag Trip to Jerusalem kami, and kami ni Megan yung music (gamit yung phone ni Maki), Grabeh yung mga bata, nag-away-away pa. Haha. Well, that's life, you don't always win naman. That's gonna teach them how to be a good sport (before they kill each other anyway)
Tapos nag-attempt pa kami na mag-storytelling. Haha. It started out good, lahat sila attentive.
The moral of the story?
HUWAG NANG MAGMIMISS NG NSTP. Haha.
