Vella C. Damian School of Ballet

Let's look at a day in a life of a ballet student at VCD School of Ballet. Any day there is enjoyable and exhausting. Sooooo........

Well....I prepare an hour before leaving the house....my class is at 3pm so I take a shower at 12:30 so I could leave on or before 1:30.....I always want to be at least 30 mins. early for class sooo.....I do that....yun na yon.

I travel an hour to Quezon City from Parañaque....usually while waiting..I just sleep or listen to the radio and more often....nakatunganga lang ako.

When I arrive at Mayon...I take of my clothes (the ones I'm wearing on top of my leotard) and then I wait...again.

I socialize at this point (while waiting for class to start)....and what other stuff to do than this....

I still don't know what I'm gonna dance as of now....I'll find out sooner or later...

MODERN dance class....

like WOW!!!!

pipol who go through that are amazing!!!

I attended the Modern Dance class last Friday....taught by Mr. B. Larlar....the guy who was with Melanie Motus who were both given the dance scholarship or sumthin...

wehehe....it was like so hard.

I just made things/stuff clear....

the dancing stuff that pipol do in school like the Pussycat Dolls or the B.E.P. stuff is practically not Modern Dance....its more of Hip Hop....(someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Modern dance is more of the Martha Graham and Isadora Duncan stuff....the one's with the "CONTRACT"& "PRETZEL" kind of moves.....so believe me...the next time we dance something in school....I will not call it Modern Dance...because the real stuff is sooooooo different from that. Its actually Hip Hop. Pipol don't really use the term Hip Hop now HERE cause its sounds sooo.....

anyhoo....

really...believe me...Modern Dance is sooooo much different from what most of you pipol know. The dances that my friends like Bea, Chole and Maiko do is not basically Modern Dance....I don't see them contracting and doing pretzels ya know....

And from that one class that I took....all my muscles are still soooo SORE....

hehehe......I got a Grishko 2007 which is 4 1/2 XXX with a Hard shank....whoo!!....haha!!! AND DAMN! IT HURTS!!.........o well.....who cares?? I'M HAPPY....^_^

I bought it from That's D Pointe in Metrowalk, Pasig.....ya know wat.....I actually bought the pair last Saturday..I got the same Grishkos but it was 5 1/2 before I took it to class last Tuesday..I already knew that it was too big...and boy was I RIGHT!!....

Ms. Damian told me to return it and have it exchanged cause it was way too big so I did on Wednesday.

So I got the 4 1/2's then.

Thursday (yesterday), I brought it again...so I can have it sewn for me or ask how to sew it anyway. It got an approved from my teacher so everybody was happy (yay me!)

In our class, only two people have Grishkos, me and Bea...whoo!!!...everybody was wearing Capezio...anyhoo....ya know how much toe pads (Ouch Pouch Jr.) cost???

hehe....It was the first time I got to wear pointe shoes with ribbons last night!! Anyhoo...no biggie...

Just hopin that I could still walk after tomorrow...that's all...hehe...the first two classes were really exhausting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MEAN REALLLLLLLLY EXHAUSTING (and confusing too....???)

Christine Walsh herself was the examiner....I am here right now...waiting for the results of this freakin test. Tatlong araw na lng....what if I failed??? What if....

I got a Grishko......mwahahahahahaha!!!! I'm a 5 1/2.....bka nga lng mareject ni Ms. Damian....it may not fit me well or sumthin....anyhoo.....I felt really good while fitting....and my gash......was I happy!!! Muntik na nga lng himatayin ang nanay ko knina cauze its like superrrrr mahal!!!! Hope for the best!! Excited na ako sa April 18......

I just wanna share this......

After the second venur rehearsals at St. Paul's (Pasig), Ms. Damian kinda talked to me......
She said. "You have to be on pointe this summer. You go buy na your pointe shoes...can you attend three time a week?"
I said, "yeah.."

Whoo!! When I heard those words from my teacher...I was like soooooooooo superrrrr happy!!

(sing-song voice) I'm gonna be on pointe!! I'm gonna be on pointe! She's telling me to buy na...Ha...Ha..Haha...Ha......

Mwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Anyhoo...

So the day after which was Saturday...I told my parents that I would come with them to get my size from Capezio.....

I waited like 4 hours for 10:00am to come because it was like so early and the mall wasn't even opened yet.......soo...

waiting.....

waiting..........

Then it's time! Me and my dad went to Capezio. When we got there...the people there didn't even bother to ask us for assistance. No they did not!! So we looked around the shop. When finally...

I asked them about the pointe shoes...

"Can I please be fitted so I would know my size?"

They asked me who my teacher was. I told them who. They asked me if it was my first time. I told them it was. My dad asked when will I be starting. I told them April 18.

After hearing that I would not buy from them yet.....they completely ignored us from there. They actually told me to come back when the date is nearer because my feet will still grow!!??

What kind of answer was that?

It was like less than a couple of weeks...my feet would not really make a difference....They didn't want to make the sale because I wasn't buying yet.....THAT WAS SO RUDE

AND FULL OF CRAP.

After stepping out of the store, my dad told me to never come there again because the people there are BASTOS (and full of crap.)

That actually spoiled my supposed to be special moment because I was getting my first pointe dhoes fitted....and they gave me was CRAP.

awOw!!....nowadays lagi ka na lng makakakita ng mga couples everywhere.....sa labas, sa mall, sa.......classroom....hmMmm...

So I'm making a further look into thi crazy world of luv............

3. She's actually really nice (not evil like yours truly anyway). She's a very likable person.....maybe.....hmmMMmmm......(jke!!...peash tayo!!)

5. And she's really pertty....I mean pretty.....like a discreet guy magnet. Kung di nyo lang alam ang kalandian ng babaeng toh.


6. She has 3 freakin' iPods.....3!! for crying out loud....wOw..okay...maybe this is like an extension of Reason#2 but...hello?!?....3!!....Three....Tres....Tatlo.....

It was Sunday, March 5, 2006, Papa was not home. He was already in Tarlac. He was told to go there na. And he did. Because he knew that the time was getting nearer and nearer.

Last night (Saturday), his BP and pulse was already going down. But when he hears the screams of Mommy..."Ador! Ador!"....his BP goes back to normal. He was afraid to leave Mommy. But everybody in the room saw that he was already having a hard time. Probably...he was already going when he heard her screams. He just wouldn't leave his family, especially Mommy. When at last his children went up to him and assured him, "Sige na Daddy, kami na ang bahala kay Mommy, magpahinga ka na."...The night went on....and his BP went down slowly. Pero tuloy tuloy siyang bumaba. Madaling araw.....his time came. They were actually in the hopsital. His son saw that he already left and they carefully told it to his mother. Mommy, when she heard the news, went up to Daddy and said "Daddy...gising....Daddy". That was a very hurtful scene. All of them saw how his face glowed after he left this world.

That same morning, we, here in Parañaque, were asked to go there. My other cousins were already there actually. We were the only ones not present. Going there, I had a hard time...cause tears kept streaming down my eyes. I actually can't believe that he's gone. I entered he house in Tarlac and the first thing I saw was the name they always put up when somebody died. When I saw Daddy's name on it....I started crying again and add to that....I saw his casket...there in the living room...the same place kung san binurol rin si Ingkong. This was very hard for me because I never imagined to see him there. I immediately looked for Mommy cause I can't even imagine all the hurt she is feeling....I saw my other cousins who can't manage to stop crying as well....outside I saw people na nagsusugal and that PISSED me off...kakaasar talaga...don't they have any respect?!

Since I can't stay there....we went home later on...there were still classes. Actually we were the only ones who were going home ( and that pissed off my Father a bit )

Using his magic, Chichiri transforms himself into an exact copy of Hotohori, urging the original to go with Miaka while Chichiri-type Hotohori covers for him. Hotohori says "I... I..." as if he was about to thank Chichiri, but instead tells Chichiri that he is far more beautiful than that, going as far as saying that Chichiri's copy is not seductive-looking enough.

This is like my favorite anime of all time!!!! Why will I pass up the chance to go and watch it again. And another thing....hehe....before the end of March I would be getting my Fushigi Yuugi DVD (the whole series!!!!....mwahahahahahaha!!!)

On April 3, 2006....test namin sa ACB (Australian Conservatoire of Ballet). I'm really really really really nervous and excited at the same time. Cauze duh! when was the last time I took this test?? When I was like 6 years old?? I going for the Distinction of course...so many opportunities if you get Distinction in this test.

I have to buy AU§40 for this test. That's about P1600 in our money by the way. I'm practically freeeeakin out cauze its like one month away for crying out loud!!!

Just wish I don't commit any mistakes....not make a fool out of myself....and be pretty!! XD Please please please please.....make this thing successful!

By the way..........I'M GONNA GO ON POINTE THIS SUMMER!!!!

When the value of the Philippine peso is actually going up they (the very irrational...kindof selfish people of the country...not talking 'bout everyone of course) pick this time when the peso is actually doing a great job right now to waste it!!

This....thing.....that these people are doing is actually (hello!...earth to the people!! knock!-knock!) not helping the country. This disaster they are bringing to the country is really shallow and very selfish!!! I'm actually in a kind of panic for the good of the country (especially when I supposed to buy Australian dollars for the ACB exams).....rarrrRrr talaga and nararamdaman ko ryt now!!!!!!

The s****d people who are there right now are not doing any good for their country.......

We're like in all over the news....."THE PHILIPPINES IS ALREADY IN THE STATE of NATIONAL EMERGENCY".......for crying out loud....just learn to think for awhile and be NOT ignorant!

If you people want to do good and change....then...YOU SHOULD LEARN TO FOLLOW.

When there are people....foreigners actually....who are already killing themselves because of sleepless days and nights trying to find and save bodies from the victims from Southern Leyte...what are the selfish Filipino people doing?????? They're here in Manila doing nothing but add to the litter and dirt that the cities already have. That is really SHAMEFUL. Nakakahiya talaga.

GLORIA RESIGN....you people say....but who will you replace her with....no one....can anybody be worthy and capable enough to lead the country.......don't give me the names of stupid people who are not even this close of being worthy. I'm not saying that the current president is the best...I'm just saying.....who else is out there....brave enough to face the challenges of leading a country.

I am very disappointed. Life is already very difficult...and the people are making it even harder to live with. For the past weeks the economy has been rising and then they blew it.

a triBute tO mA'am HILDA MADO....

It was January 20 in the year 2006. A small but great school inside Makati had its annual Family Day. It was a celebration of the unity of teachers, students, parents and other members of the family. There was but one teacher who ruled them all......and her name was Hilda Mado...

not!..........

It was a good thing that the sophies won the Cheering competition but one was very...let's say..."enthusiastic" about what she was doing. She is a good teacher. Works hard and does everything for her students and we are greatful for that and I want to show the world how great she is.......

Okei....it is soooooo true that the students kept on "laughing" at her as a joke and that caused her to feel "enthusiastic" about what she was doing.

Let's cut to the chase: all I really wanted to do was show the amazing pics and evidence that I got....LoL.... Now presenting...our very own Trigonometry teacher.....who made us win the said event....Ms. H. Mado!!!!!!..........

eto ang gawain ng taong walang mgwa tuwing Family Day....hehe.....ala lng. Dats wat anybody would do if they had friends and a camera AND somebody hus not really doing anything so she/he can take your pictures.

Family Day is a naturally a boring day. Da only thing I waited for were the dance cotest and the cheering competitions. Dats it. I don't really participate in the games, but i like taking pictures though (and that doesn't have any connection with the Family Day, doesn't it?). Da seniors won da Dance Contest and we, the Sophies won the Cheering Competitions. The Freshmen won the Sports chuvah and the juniors........okei...moving on!

okei.....another pic dat shows no relevance at all. And only shows da level of idleness of da pipol last family day....enjoy.

HAPI HAPI NEW YEAR!!!! wELcoMing dA yEar oF dA doG....

ei!! waszup pipol of da blogging world...or sumthin.....it's new year!!! it's already the year 2006!!! Ya know what, our family does not just sit around the house on new year's day, we do something!! Soooo....we went out for lunch....somewhere in da middle of something. We ate seafood. And honestly.....da food in Dampa in Parañaque tastes miles better!!! After lunch, we got bored and decided to do something. There was a new carnival in town so we decided to check the place out. But when we got there....look at the ticket price.....a whopping Php550 for 6 tokens!!!!!! 6 tokens for cryin out loud!!! Who in da right mind will come to such place (okei....maybe da rich pipol....but...) some foreigners there even turned back when they got there.....everyone protested (including moi) so, my family decided to go home and my cousin's family decided to head to Enchanted Kingdom.....well.....good for them...
But my Tito Joey asked us if we wanted to come.....like hullo!!!....I only go there so seldom, why will I pass this chance?!?! I spent my January 1, 2006 in Enchanted Kingdom...


There was an ocean of pipol in Enchanted but we went through with it. The ticket prices are Php500 for adults and Php350 for children (I think...) and they were all ride all you can. Well....that is a good deal......but the rest of the country thought of the same thing. If we arrived there more or less 3:30 in the afternoon, we finished our first ride, which was the Riogrande Rapids, at about 5:45pm!!!!! That is how much crowded it was. I only had the chance to ride Riogrande, LogJam and the Space Shuttle.......
That was my FIRST time to ride the evil roller coaster. I have been there so many times and I was always so scared to try it even if I was way pass the meter stick. Ü . But this time I actually had the guts to try........juicko!! it was fun and terrifying at the same time. I can't even describe in mere words what I went through. Sure this is nothing to some other pipol but it was my first time there for crying out loud!!!
In the end, I had a really GOOD time. We actually stepped foot in the house again at about 1:30 in the morning!!! We actually closed the theme park.....(but that's what the Sinchioco family usually do....so not much surprise in there).

Now that is a good way to start your year....^_^

these are the pics from last Christmas...hey..dat was a very happy day for me so I don't have any problems with that. I just didn't receive a lot of presents...BUT!....I earned a lot of cash!! ^_^
